The Story

Two classics.
Open late.

M&M is Brian Magarro and Joel Marsh. Two operators driven by one idea — make the best version of each sandwich you can find in Omaha.

Top choice ribeye on the Philly cheesesteak. Real Chicago-style seasoned beef on the Italian, simmered low and slow in our own au jus. Bread baked fresh at Noli's Pizzeria — Joel's other place — because the bread is half the sandwich. House-made dynamite sauce because nothing tastes better at 1 AM than something a little bit on fire.

Park outside Jay's Beer Garden in Blackstone, Thursday through Saturday until 2 AM. Bring the appetite.

FAQ

Where is M&M Beef and Steak located?

+

M&M Beef and Steak is a food truck parked at 3724 Farnam Street in Omaha's Blackstone District, right outside Jay's Beer Garden.

What time are you open?

+

We're open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 7 PM until 2 AM. Closed Sunday through Wednesday.

Restaurant or food truck?

+

We're a food truck. You'll find us parked outside Jay's Beer Garden in Blackstone Thursday through Saturday nights.

What kind of meat do you use?

+

Top choice ribeye on the Philly cheesesteak — the cut a real cheesesteak is supposed to be made of. For the Italian beef, seasoned beef simmered low and slow in our own aromatic au jus until it's tender enough to pull. We don't cut corners on either.

Where does the bread come from?

+

Noli's Pizzeria. Joel Marsh — one of M&M's owners — also runs Noli's, so the rolls are baked fresh there and brought over to the truck. The bread is half the sandwich. We treat it that way.

What's on the sandwiches?

+

The Italian beef goes on a crusty Italian roll with mild or hot giardiniera, sweet roasted peppers, and melted cheese — get it dipped in au jus if you know what you're doing. The Philly is on a soft hoagie with sautéed onions, sweet peppers, and melted cheese.

What's giardiniera?

+

Pickled vegetables in oil and spice — peppers, celery, carrots, cauliflower. Mild or hot. The traditional topping for a Chicago Italian beef. Try it hot. You'll thank us later.

Do you cater?

+

Yes. Send us a catering request through the website with date, headcount, and location and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
